DePaul Family and Social Medicine Residency Program
Listening to you, caring for you.

Our family medicine curriculum is different:

Patient-centered: We see patients throughout their lives by organizing our rotations into a longitudinal 3-month quartile experience that follows patients through life cycles. This gives you the opportunity to develop deep relationships with your patients and to see how their health and needs change over time. You'll also have the opportunity to do home visits and see patients at different stages of life, from newborns to geriatrics.

Tailored to your interests: We have built-in white space in our curriculum, so you can pursue your passions and develop your skills in areas that are important to you. For example, you could work on a research project with a faculty member or volunteer at a free clinic.

We believe that our patient-centered curriculum with built-in white space will prepare you to be the best family physician you can be. You'll be well-equipped to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
